Jacque Lyn’s deep appreciation for the arts and natural gift for bringing wonderful creations to life blossomed at an early age. One might even say her passion for painting was inspired by her family genes with her grandfather a famous artist in France who once painted with Henri Rousseau.

Her experiences living and traveling around the world, and engaging in various rewarding careers that included years as a professional dancer and counselor have given Jacque Lyn a unique vision and perspective. These personal expressions, coupled with her lifelong interest in meditation, are encapsulated and eloquently reflected in her abstract style of art.

While she studied at School of Visual Arts and The New School in Manhattan to expand her knowledge, Jacque Lyn’s skill and talent were always innate. Her art has been showcased at various galleries throughout New York City, and commissioned by private individuals and businesses.

Jacque Lyn enjoys using mixed media and working with varied-size canvases. She paints with iridescent, glow-in-the-dark and acrylics, makes collages and uses gels from top-quality Golden paints, plus incorporates colored pencils, felt pens, washes, glitter and sparkly beads – all of which she melds together to project her complex thoughts and incorporate meaningful messages into each distinctly beautiful painting. “The goal of my artwork is to make people feel something,” says Jacque Lyn. “If I’ve done that, then I consider myself successful.”
